Here is a message from the President Lutomski:
Hello fellow Lions, It feels like fall in the air. The leaves are turning. We’ll be getting a cold front about every other week. And if you remember from some of our programs, this is the 2nd severe weather season. I can remember going to school and it would be cool. By lunch time, it would be HOT and severe weather might happen that afternoon or evening. Saying that, be weather aware, we’re in tornado season again. The 1970 tornado that hit City Hall, Sequoyah Elementary and Brackeen Motors(downtown) was October 5th. FELLOW LIONS we voted to be back at Santa Fe Cattle Co. again, Everyone loved the food last week. This week’s program is our County District Attorney Allan Grubb. Please make program suggestions to Lion Neal Martin…..We’re trying to book the Mayor like you asked for…NOW BACK TO THE FOOD….Please order you lunch by 8pm Wednesday night and I will place your orders. Again, if you want to order when you get there, THAT’S FINE TOO. I will attach the menu again. Don’t forget we have the “Diaper Drop-off” still going on. The locations are 1. Action Physical Therapy on Harrison2. Kelli James Farmers Insurance on Kickapoo3. 1st National Bank & Trust on MacArthur If you forgot, we’re gathering diapers for Legacy Parenting Center, it’s for a GOOD cause. I can’t wait until Thursday, HOPE TO SEE YOU there.
