This week's Lions Club meeting featured our guests Mary Sims and Carmen Wolf from the Shawnee Public Library, who brought us up to speed on the many modalities available at the Pioneer Library in Shawnee. Mary discussed the features of our local branch, with regard to media and creative outlets, and Carmen represented the Friends of Library, which supports the efforts of our library in reaching out to the community.
